I'm dedicated to helping people maximize the lasting impact of their legacy by safeguarding and efficiently transferring assets to loved ones and charitable causes.
In 2012, my wife and I embarked on a life-changing journey, making the move to the United States. Fueled by my passion for finance, I decided to continue to pursue a career in finance. As I explored job opportunities, I discovered that the methods and practices employed by many financial planning firms didn't resonate with my values. Driven by this realization, I founded Lestna Retirement with a commitment to delivering holistic and impartial wealth management services, always putting our clients' interests first.
As my professional journey unfolded, I delved deeper into legacy planning and intergenerational asset transfers. Through this shift, my aim is to show people how employing tax-efficient financial and wealth transfer strategies can extend the impact of their legacy, benefiting not only heirs but also their beloved charitable causes.
Credentials
I hold Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA®) and Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®) designations which I chose because I wanted my actions and words to reassure clients that their financial interests come first in everything I do. In addition to that, I am currently studying for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation which is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious certifications in the financial planning industry.
I also love to share my knowledge on various financial topics. Check my YouTube channel and read my book, "The Resolute 401(k) Participant," about the essentials of 401(k) plans and how to retire financially secure and worry-free.
Local Impact
I am a board member of Nordson Green Earth Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that strives to improve greenspace equity in the Chicagoland area. By using the Miyawaki method of tree planting, Nordson's hope is to bring the benefits of forests to more communities and improve tree equity as defined by American Forests.
